TV Media is Pervasive. Do you agree?

I seldom watch TV programs but when I do, it is most likely one of the following: any big cat series, young wild life conservation, sharks, globe trekker, WWII documentaries, air crash investigation etc.

I'm just extremely intrigued by the above subjects and I can watch the same series over and over again because I could have missed out some details somewhere. Or that's what I like to tell myself. I can even recognize the various big cats once I switch to that channel, like there's a particular Big Cat series done on this leopard called Half-tail and its daughter Shadow and due to its tail I can tell at once it's the same leopard. Or Amber, my favourite cheetah mother that has 2 lines of spots almost parallel on its cheeks. Yea, I didn't notice but it does feel like I'm stalking some of them big cats hur? I shall not get started on the various lion prides.

Oh well. I really love big cats that's for sure. I must go to Kenya one day to visit my favourite big cat of all, the cheetahs.

Same to WWII documentaries. Recently, there is this new series called Apocalypse: The Second World War. I'm glued to it and there is just something about WWII that keeps me interested despite the number of documentaries or real-life-story movies I've watched. I believe it is the mass atrocities committed against mankind by mankind which makes me count my blessings that I'm living in a much protected place. I think I also like to appreciate the simplest things in life where absent, can cause great distress and chaos. Such as being packed like sardines in small confined areas naked. Now you'd think twice about taking public transport and spend that $200 TopShop vouchers more conscientiously isn't it? Just kidding. Or maybe I just like to wince and scringe at the crazy Nazi shit. I always ask myself, 'Was God watching?'

However, there is one series that I have come to love and hate. Make that two. First would be Air Crash Investigation and second would be Globe Trekker. Both are highly correlated ya; they are travel related and they invoke unnecessary emotions, fear & envy in me. Haha. Sometimes I wonder why I bother watching Air Crash Investigation when my lifelong passion is travelling. It sucks to know how vulnerable a plane is and how vital the pilot's skills are. Sometimes, it just doesn't matter cos Murphy makes sure that everything that can possibly go wrong definitely would. But I'm like the moth, 'The fire is so beautiful... And I can't help it but get closer to it... It's so PEEW-TEE-FOOL... *bzzzz*' And the moth gets fried. And same to Globe Trekker. After watching that damned show, I've another 4 places I have to visit before I say my final prayers.

Now. Tell me where am I gonna find the kind of money???
