School!

I re-did my tie and dye assignment and for the first time in my life, it succeded!

The first t-shirt tie dying was highly unsuccessful I'm too ashamed to post it up. It was still pretty damp when I removed the rubber bands, hope the lines will still remain defined tomorrow! I could almost see my lecturer smirking when she picked up the unsuccessful piece and asked. "Whose is this?" She promptly tried to salvage the situation by suggesting on how I can salvage it. Look what I've done now. HEEHEEHEE.

And today we did silk screening. Though the pattern wasn't totally formed, I'm pretty glad it came out the way it came out! I made another piece and it's drying in the Print Shop so let's hope for the best tomorrow! I won't have room for errors cos submission's at 5pm tomorrow.

Some parts were quite badly smudged, but it's my first try so I guess no harm done? Hopefully the details will come on clearer the next time round. Can you tell that the entire image forms into a peacock?

So far textile class has been quite an eyeopener. I kinda regretted choosing textile as my elective at first, because I was so damned sucky at Tie and Dye. But I guess all's good now and I'm happy!

I have a lot of other things to say, but let's save that for a juicier, locked, post.

bye!
