As for me I wouldn't insist that our morality level is lower than one of the previous generation. We are all social animals programmed by our own genes. since the human genes haven't changed a lot for the last several thausand years there is no reason to be more or less moral than our predecessors or folowers. People rob, murder, pickpocket, rape each other with the same enthusiasm as they always did in the course of history. What we have now is acceptingly safe society of individuals where there is still nobody fucking around when you are - just as example - downloading hm... lolipron from torrents. Regarding the SMS fraud you still can stand it anyway but if you feel like mourning over how naive we were in the past, how kind-hearted to each other it's OK! Holding in your hand a cup of hot coffee, looking out of your window to the scarlet dask sky, you can feel a little feaver, like bites of cold or fear and think for a moment how dangerous and severe this giant unknowable world outside oh! and it's getting worse! What a marvelous feeling it is. To be in safety and think of danger.
