Lots of idle time for me
Christmas finally done with, I can finally glory in my leave from work. Really, this is the first time in a year that I get to have a vacation, or rather staycation...
Since updating the last time there has been a lot of change in my life. I changed jobs around mid-year - really, one can only work 10+ hours a day for so long, not to speak about the pay - and am finally back in my hometown. Reflecting this, that was quite a feat, seeing as everyone seems to want to work here (the city being one of the three biggest in Germany) and I snatched a job with an international company, who is a major player in their line of business. There is less lawyering to do than in my previous job, but it's pretty interesting and challenging and I still get to work front office. And the pay, of course, is substantially better.
What I like most about this new situation is being able to see family and friends without the need to travel across half the country. Am quite excited to see what the new year will bring...
