Viral Marketing Phone Call
The phone call I just received from the Dark Knight marketing thing (gotta love seeing that number 000-000-0000 come up) was both the coolest and creepies phone call I've ever heard.
It started off as a recording about traffic conditions around the Gotham National Bank, but it got really staticy really fast. It sounded like a radio with other stations bleeding through with more news reports. I heard old bits of the marketing campaign. Harvey Dent's calls, Gordon's voice, all mixed in with this static and noise. Then there was a male voice that you could hear through it "Can anyone hear me? Please, help me." After that it broke into gunfire mixed in, screaming, more exceprts overlapping with static and the reports. A lot more screaming...
Then it ended with the same thing it began with, but this time it was the only thing playing and it was much clearer with no background noise. Then it hung up.
I tell you. That was most awesome. I'm now totally creeped out by it. :)
