Week 1 Summary
Harley woke up in the middle of the night, rather lost and confused. Though people tried to explain exactly what was going on, she didn't quite get it and just figured she'd been transferred to some other asylum without anyone notifying her because Arkham employees were inconsiderate dimwits. This leads to the belief that the patient body was entirely composed of delusional, psychopathic criminals like herself. Apparently, she was given a roommate at this new place: Amane Misa, a girl who becomes a decently close friend to Harley.
She mainly concentrated on trying to find escape routes, but was interrupted by a grumpy bastard named Mozenrath. Mozzy informed her of a secret passage in room M78 that could be used to reach the outside. Harley took this with skepticism but was interested enough to try and check it out anyway. Though she wasn't able to find and explore the room, Rhode later told her that there were indeed hidden passages within the Institute. The two tried to find said passages and instead found a giant scorpion.
Puzzled by the presence of giant, flesh-eating monster bug things, Harley was a bit nervous and unsure exactly how to proceed with Operation "Get The Hell Outta Here." She started to get the feeling that maybe there really was something wrong with this place after all. Before she could devise a new plan of attack, she was suddenly taken by several members of staff for Special Counseling. She was released into the courtyard, believing she was helping the Joker with a recent plan by attacking and chasing people back inside. It was loads of fun, especially since she was accompanied by her darling babies. Some of the people had the nerve to actually hit her sweeties rather than just running inside, so a massive fight erupted before two other people showed up to help Harley out.
The next morning, she was unsure as to whether that all really happened or not. Some parts seemed very real while other parts were hazy. One of her victims was able to vouch that, though they hadn't seen this "Mister J," the hyenas had been very real. As to where they went after that night, no one knew. Harley was extremely depressed but finally got herself together and decided she had to find her darlings no matter what. They were likely still in the institute somewhere, and she would not leave without her sweethearts!
During a field trip to the nearby town, Harley managed to get a decent enough weapon: a small, lightweight wrecking bar. Though not particularly lethal, it was sturdy and with enough force, one could easy take care of giant monster bugs, demented cats, and people who needed a few ribs busted in. She carefully copied the maps from her roommate's journal and devised a plan to find and get her babies back.
