JokerxCatwoman-It is CANON!!
You know, I was never really fond of Will Pfeiffer's writing on the Catwoman book. I don't think I have met anyone who is. If you do, more power to you but I have yet to meet someone who does. I just found his characterization of her very blah. She did not have claws, wit or sophistication. She was always stating the bloody obvious. He had some good general ideas but the execution at times felt.....like it went nowhere. It was generic and not something I could get invested in.
There is one place that he did right IMHO.
Imagine how happy I was when I saw this gem. I actually forgot about this interaction:
Doubters will try and say things that the Joker is only doing this to yank her chain but WHAT IF there was some actual truth and substance to the Joker's words? For years I have been trying to work on a fic that can encapsulate the contradictory philosophies between these two. Catwoman is not black and white about law like Batman is so there is grease in the wheel and I can see the Joker to try and exploit that. Come on, DC! This is your opportunity. I wonder what Fabian Nicieza can come up with.
