A plan.
Dear Diary,
I think it's about time I leave Gotham for a while. I haven't left this dingy old city in such a long time. I know Bats will be terribly disappointed, hehehe, but I think it's time I see the sights. Sure, I did spend some time in the Middle East, but I think I'd like to see the rest of America! I'm sure there are a lot of people worth killing out west, hehehe! I might vacation in this "Jump City" for a while, since I know at least two birds there. Won't they be surprised to see me!
I'll start making preparations immediately, and with any luck, I'll arrive on the other side of the country within at least a month! You can't rush these things after all, hehehe! And some things are worth waiting for! I have to make sure things are in order for my arrival as well, heheHAHAHAHA!
I bet my trip will be a smashing success!
