About time I updated, huh?
Since the last time, I worked most of it. 12 hours a day minimum every day. Until Jan. 26th, that is. I started home then from Bossier City, LA and hit an ice storm. Had to have Jon and my friend Coby come get me in Sweetwater, TX because I couldn't drive after doing a 180 on the interstate and nearly being hit by a semi.
I've been home ever since. The economy shut down a lot of the oil and gas rigs.
I did have a chance to go about two weeks ago but others are in worse financial straits than me, so I passed to let them take it.
Now, I have loved being in the middle of nowhere, but after almost six weeks, I'm going insane from boredom. I have to drive an hour just to go to a grocery store. Add 90 minutes and I can maybe grab a movie.
Loner that I am......I'm horribly lonely.
I'm in a 28 foot RV with two fluffy cats most of the day. When Jon comes home, he showers, eats, and goes to bed. I might get half an hour of human interaction if I'm lucky.
And then the fact that I'm not online when working the past several months means I lost most of my friends. I have none IRL out here. It's.....hard.
I don't even know why I bother to post this. The only person who talks to me anymore is Kada. Everyone else forgot I exist.
