019; A Robert Downey Jr Tutorial
tinkiebelle asked me a few months ago to post a tutorial for this icon from this post using Photoshop CS3.
This is NOT a colouring tutorial, it is a tutorial for the effect used. If you wish for a colouring tutorial you may ask for one, but I only save a few of the PSDs.
Going from
to
1. Get your base ready by cropping your image.
2. Add the colouring you want. Mine was just brown colours on exclusion layers then faded the colours to make it "dull".
3. I then used the selection tool to highlight half of the icon.
4. Whilst this was highlighted I went to Filter>>Pixelate>>Fragment. This adds the effect to the highlited side.
5. And that's it. You're done.
