On Rape and Men talks about role-modelling men who are That Guy, the guy who takes a drunk woman home or stops his friend from raping a passed-out woman. The comments are from both men and women about their own experiences, good or bad. One comment that particularly struck me (on the first page of comments) was about a man who has "a firm belief in the 'enthusiastic collaboration' standard of consent."
This is must-read material for anybody, men or women.
Anyway, I'll stop talking about it, because so many other people do it so much better. Suffice it to say, I've worried for years that 1 or more of my 5 nieces will be raped. I worry even more now since 4 of them are 12 or older.
