Time

Ok.....so tonight a very deep question crossed my mind. This question being "Does time really exist". I would have to say that time doesn't exist. Time is a man made word to descibe periods between birth and death or in other terms the period between one event happening then another.

From that thought comes the realization that without the existence of time there is no such thing as the past or the future. There can only be the present. Sure we can carry things we remember happening into the present but then that thing is no longer of the past it is of the present and just a memory. As far as the future goes it never exists. As soon as you get to tomorrow, it's today, therefore the present.

Many scientists over the years have played with this theory over and over again trying to figure it out. Newton, Einstein, Galileo, all the big names you commonly hear. It's really a hard concept for many to grasp. This difficulty mostly comes because you can feel the passage of said time. However, what you don't realize is it's not time passing but events.

Ever notice how the more you got going on the faster time seems to go? Like if you're just sitting there waiting to go out to a movie with friends it seems to take forever. But if you get in the shower, clean up your room, do some dishes, and turn on the t.v. blamm time is gone and it's time to go.

The question is: Did time actually go faster or did what you percieve as time change because you weren't noticing it? Would we be able to get to any place in time including the past or future present if we could just get past this human barrier and be able to percieve it.

The word "time" is it's own prison. Until we can get past this word we will not be free from it's bars. People make up descriptions of things so we can keep track of them and better understand them. Unfortunately by making up such words as "time" we are only building barriers around our own imagination where the real truths to the universe lie.

Everyone wonders why humans only use so much of a percentage of their brain potential. I'll tell you why.....we've limited our imaginations so much that we can't escape the way we've designed normal society to think. Not to mention we've stacked a million daily chores into something called a "24 hour period". These things being work, school, children, bills, phone calls, etc. Now living on the basis of a 40 hour work week and a 24 hour day has crammed all of our responsibilities into a ball. We rush around to get all this done thinking we're running out of time.

However, time doesn't exist but in your mind. Who ever said that you have to live your life doing this at one point of the day so you'd have to rush to do that before you could do another this that had to be done right now. Society said it.

Why? Cause there is a whole world full of people that still believe time really exists. That is a very sad thing that we have to build imaginary concepts to keep order in this world.

You know what I say? I say to hell with time and order. This world was built on chaos. This whole galaxy/dimension was built on chaos. Without chaos there is no order. Without chaos order wouldn't even exist. So let chaos reign and we'll see who can handle making a phone call and saying "I'll be there real soon" without the other person going "What time"?

You wanna know who's gonna survive the end of civilization? I bet if we got rid of all the clocks and watches in the world you'd know soon enough. The people running around tripping over there own feet trying to figure out how fast they should be rushing through life would stand out like a sore thumb.

Besides that. Who are we to judge how long the passage of time is? To the planets we've only lived but a second. How long exactly would that make our minute? To the universe we haven't even become a fetus yet. How long would that make our hour?

So as I'm an astrological sperm dripping down the leg of eternity, I have only one question.

Do you think time exists?
