Today I was given more proof of the fact that I am the proud owner of The Cell Phone That Refuses To Die. I was outside "hiking" (read: walking through the woods) for about 10-15 minutes while it was pouring rain today and my cell phone was in the netted side pocket of my backpack. I did not know this and made no efforts to keep it dry and yet somehow it is still working perfectly fine.
As much as I am tempted by the features of today's new cell phones, I'll probably be content celebrating my fifth anniversary of owning this particular cell phone in December.
