Halloween 2007

This year was one of the best Halloween's ever! It started with uberjay and I going to see Wicked for our anniversary on Friday night. Then, on Saturday night, we hosted a Halloween/Anniversary/Housewarming Party at our new house. The costumes and crowds at the party were awesome and at midnight we got to enjoy the anniversary layer of the wedding cake. The year old gluten-free carrot cake was actually quite tasty. Also, for the first time ever, all of the punch disappeared as well as all of the tasty margaritas.

For Halloween itself, I wore a costume to work (I dressed up as slightly modified version of the Strawberry Shortcake character Blueberry Muffin), as far as I could tell I was the only one in the building that did. However, when the clock struck six, I left work and wondered around Beacon Hill looking at the decorations and all of the cute little kids out trick-or-treating. It reminded me of what I thought the quintessential Halloween would be when I was a kid. I then headed to Davis Square and changed into my Corpse Bride costume to go reverse trick-or-treating with a bunch of friends. It's amazing how happy people can be when you knock on their door offering them a treat :) When exhausted from those endeavors a bunch of people headed to Rudy's for dinner and uberjay and I finished the evening at the drag party that was going on across the street at our neighbors house.

All in all, an awesome Halloween and I'd like to thank everyone who participated in making it so much fun!!!
