Costa Rica!
Well I just had one of the single greatest trips of my life. Twelve college kids (including myself) galavanting around Tamarindo Beach, Costa Rica is a beautiful thing. We were there for nine days, and lemme tell you, the first few days I did not have a good time at all. I felt all left out and stuff, but then after about the third day I started having a really good time. I went swimming almost every day in the warm, wonderful water, went to happy hour at our favorite bar, ate at Wild's, ate at Gil's, wandered around the dusty/muddy streets with some awesome people, tried surfing, tried horseback riding, frequented the Super Compro, watched the end of the Olympics in Spanish (when you have olympic fever anything will do), spoke a little spanish (the little I know, anyways lol), shopped, killed bugs, watched sunsets, met and hung out with some freakin' awesome new people (who actually are friends with a lot of my friends which makes me wonder why I haven't hung out with any of them before lol), and had pretty much the best fruit and coffee I will ever taste in my life. lol
Now I'm home, and it feels like school is only a heartbeat away. I'm actually a little excited to be going back. I know I saw them all like a month ago, but I miss all my roommates and friends a lot and I can't wait to go spend all my time with them again. LOL Plus, after we get through the first day of class we get to have our Office season premiere party! That's going to be pretty great. For right now I need to work, make some money so that I can pay off my travel debts to my mother lol, and pretty much get my life in order. A month is enough to do that, right? hahaha
Oh and just for future reference for myself if I'm ever looking at this journal a few years from now and can't remember the names of all the people who went (which is likely seeing as I have the memory of a goldfish) these were they: Katharine, Matt, Dan, Lori, Mackenzie, Ryan, Jake, Thomas, Justin, Clayton, and Jackie. Big fun. Awesome people.

J: The only thing I regret is that I'm going to miss comprehensive coverage of the end of the Olympics AND the Democratic National Convention.

Mac: Hey Jordan, are you going to surf?
J: NO.
Mac: Oh, ok.
[Awkward silence]
J: ...I don't surf.
Mac: haha Gotcha.
