"Duvet Covers for Dummies Men"
it takes my mum 5 seconds. she just goes *plonk-flap-flap* and it's done.
it took me about 20 minutes. I tried the flap-flap maneuver....to no avail. Then I finally go it all sorted out, and it was in the wrong way, and all the feathers fell off the sides of the bed. If I were

step 1- put entire duvet inside the duvet cover
step 2- put upper body inside duvet! (this amuses every who might be watching)
step 3- find a corner of the duvet. Find a corner of the cover. Put them together. Stick one arm outside the cover and grab the matched corners from the outside. Make sure they're good and together and then drop it. They will probably stick together for the time that you need them to. If you have a double/queen sized bed, you might be fortunate, and your duvet and cover are more or less perfect squares and you don't have to go messing around with the long and short sides, but if they're rectangles, make sure you match up the right corners.
step 4- go looking for an adjacent corner and repeat step three.
step 5- remove yourself from the duvet cover, grab the two matched corners and give the duvet and cover a good shake. This not incredibly necessary, but it will get the other two corners of the duvet closer to where you want them and solidify the position of the first two corners.
step 6- repeat steps 2 through 4.
step 7- now repeat step 5 from at least 2 sides (or all 4 if you're feeling energetic) to get an even distribution of fluffiness throughout.
annnd you're done!
