Best Day of College!
Hey guys so I just had the best day of college so far. It was awesome!! First, real quick overview of the week:
Monday! Bio midterm, ahhh. It wasn't bad. But who really knows?
Tuesday: Nothing...more cramming!
Wednesday: Orgo midterm! Long and hard, but i tried my best. We'll also hope for the best. Ahh!
So after Wednesday I had nothing else to do--orgo was my last midterm until finals. I still have little tests and projects and such, but they're not as big a deal as midterms are. So I was sooooo hyper! After class my friend surprised me by meeting me outside of class and we went running down to the bridge and down by the river which was really pretty. Actually, we just walked, haha. But still, it was really nice. Theeennn...what did I do Wednesday night? Ohhh after dinner I went to go watch a Vietnamese movie which was cool, went to the grocery store, and went back to my room to chill.
Todaaaayyyy the weather was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. It was like, 70s, sunny, and amazing. So my first class was kinda nasty cuz we wrote an in class essay which I completely BSed, but we were let out early so I was happy. Then I went to lunch and had a fun time there. then I went to my other class of the day, and we did some mundane stuff before working on a play that we have to write, which is going to be hiiilarious. Maybe. So that was fun. Then I was done with classes!!
So I went back to my room and my roomie and I went and sat outside for an hour to do some hw--she got sunburned, haha. It was kinda sad, but also kinda funny :D. Then she went off to class and i went back to my room, did laundry, vacuumed and cleaned--basically my room is awesome. In the meantime I watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off for the first time straight through--other times I just saw parts or half or something. After I finished all that my roomie came back and we went outside again because there was some sort of concert going on in one of the frat houses. So we met up with friends and accumulated a group. We went to one of the dining halls, got take out and sat outside and ate and listened to music. it was sooooooo relaxing. And amazing. The whole weather did so much to improve my already-decent mood I was just bouncing off walls. And then after that we came back inside and watched half of Sweeney Todd--roomy got too freaked out by then, haha. Then we chilled for like another couple hours cuz she was going to a frat party and was taking me along...that was okay, but it was really hot and crowded like always. So we only stayed for like, an hour. But that's cool. So now I'm back! And about to go to bed cuz I just spent all my remaining energy writing this.
This weekend is going to be amazing also! It's called Spring Fling, it's basically a giant campus party. There's stuff going on all tomorrow and all Saturday, like food and music and performers and it's so fun. The entire campus just like, relaxes a bit. Everyone skips classes, everyone's just happy!! I'm so excited. Especially because there's a giant concert that's the centerpiece of Fling, and our performers this year are Ludacris, Gym Class Heroes and Ok Go! This is going to be my first concert and I am SO excited just for that!!
So dude. Best week. ever. Besides the two midterms, haha. But hopefully they'll be decent! Anyway, HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! I know I will be :D
