(no subject)
It rains to damn much here!!! When I lived in Spokane I use to love it when it rains but now I don’t think I’ve gone through a full day in the last two months that it hasn’t at least let a few drops fall. Seriously. Now I have one of these nice Fridays to myself and I should be out enjoying sun and the garden or my bike or whatever but NO. It is absolutely poring it is very load and dark and feels like December in my house. I would turn on the heater but yesterday it did something strange and the wall unit started glowing red no I’m freaked out its going to burn the house down. But hey at least the rain will put it out.
The past few weeks we have been busy revamping our family room with new paint and carpet it looks so good and it is so much better than how it use to look. The next task will be the patio and then I hope we can have a big back yard BBQ or something. Then if it rains we can head into the family room.
I put in an application for an E2 position last week but I have to wait and find out if I qualify. Then I have to take a test then if I pass I get to wait until July for the interviews and compete with a bunch of other E1’s trying to climb the later for the few positions that open up. Of course if the gas tax gets vetoed I guess we can kiss those extra openings good-bye and hope someone moves or transfers. But if I don’t pass I have to wait a whole year to take the test again anyway and we all know how great of a tester I am.
Oh but this is all bla because the rain has me in a slump and I know there our teams ultimate hat tourney and BBQ tomorrow and what does the forecast say oooh 60 and rain.
On good news we got in to Potlatch Yippee. Oh my some there is some spectacular lightning and thunder going on outside….. hmm this is getting better than usual. Maybe it will get it out of its system.
