Been so busy
Its been nuts everyone has been visiting and we are just getting into our new house. Matts friends Mike and Chrissy have been here staying with us from Baker. We have had a blast on sunday we went to play miniature golf and then we went to the Blazers training facility it was so neat i felt like i had walked onto the stage for honey i shrunk the kids. The doors go all the way to the ceiling and the counters start at my eyes and i can barely reach the sinks. Then yesterday Mike got us free tickets to the game vs huston all because he use to work for them. It was a bunch of fun they were down 20 and came back to tie and go into overtime only to end up loosing. It was a bit disappointing after watching the gu and eastern games this last week.
This morning I had the interview of a lifetime with WashDOT I have wanted to work for them for a while now so thats what makes it so great. Unfortunately I got a cold last week and im in the raspy voice coughing phase so I kept loosing my voice and having to turn and cough i pretty sure they didnt find that too proffesional. Although they did like my answers to their questions and some people at the office had given me good recommendations. One use to be a student from gonzaga who grad like 2yrs before me and i dont even know who he is but i guess he remebered me so that was good. The funny thing is the the other was from someone who was in my class that i was never really that nice to and now i feel kind of bad. I wasnt mean but you know i never made any extra effort to be her friend and yet she told her boss how great i was at gu and that i was a good friend. After the interview he led me back to her desk to suprize her and she jumped up and gave me a big hug like we had been the best of buds. I just thought wow im an ass. She gave me her number and I promise am going to make some kind of effort now.
So I hope I blew their socks away being sick and all and that i get a job... plus this no job thing has been dragging on and i want some extra money to play with. Oooh but I got to wear my new suit again today and I looked hot i mean profesional. Crazy thing they had six people interviewing me it really made me nervous when i walked in ive never done an interview with more than 3. ... ok all done... WAIT, Yay for BRAD coming to see me tonight!
