Some of my interests that
animemojo wanted to know about
antique books: I love books in general, but the idea of books that are still around after possibly centuries (although I'm almost as tickled with books that have been around for only 70 years or so) just gives me that shiver up the spine. :)
bicycling: It's a nice way to get outside and get exercise without killing my knees. I like it better than walking because I feel like I'm actually getting somewhere.
celtic lore: I've always loved mythology, no matter what the source. Being of Gaelic descent, the stories and teachings of Ireland, Scotland & Wales have held particular interest for me. It is something I would like to know more about.
goa: India is somewhere I'd love to visit anyway, but Goa in particular, because that is where the significant other is from. :) I've heard it described as the Cancun of India. But more than that, I'd like to go because it would be nice to meet his family (they all still live there), and see the places he wandered as a child.
hindi pop: I first got turned on to Hindi pop from watching Bollywood movies, which happened quite by accident. I had borrowed a movie from the library (can't remember which one, now), and it had a trailer on it for a movie called Lagaan. It looked interesting so I borrowed it, too. I liked the music so well that I bought the soundtrack. I happened to have it on my CD player at work and one of the guys I worked with is from Bombay, so he suggested some other movies to see. 95% of Bollywood movies are musicals, so I have a plethora to choose from. :) And the rest is history.
ireland: A place I've always wanted to visit. All the pictures & movies I've seen show this beautiful GREEN place. And I'd like to see where some of my ancestors are from.
shah rukh khan: He's my favorite actor on the planet. Full stop.
