Ex's, Toll's, Birthday's and Fish

Well, Im recently single as of about a month ago. Im not sure how to feel about that. A part of me is extremely disappointed that again, I was unable to maintain a happy healthy relationship; however, another part of me is happy to see that Ive progressed past my typical two month breaking point. I suppose the latter is more than a little cynical, but with out positives one can only venture through life with pessimistic views.

While were on the topic of positives, I was traveling down the toll-way the other day and due to my recent revocation of my toll-tag, was forced to utilize the booth. In doing so, I allowed this only lady to hastily cut me off. I was in a good mood, so why not help out my fellow American? In return, she paid for my toll! How cool is that? For some reason that $0.75 she paid really made my day. The next toll-booth I found myself with an extra $0.75 due to one ladys kindness, so I returned the favor and paid for the guy behind mes toll. I hope it made his day too.

Donovan turns 27 Thursday, and as a way to celebrate he and I have rented out the Presidential suit at the Westin hotel down town. We have invited a handful of people to keep up entertained, and we have a whole slue of events planned. I think it will be a lot of fun!

Also, I found out today that I will be off for 6 days next week... Friday through Wednesday. As utterly exciting as that sounds, I wasnt really looking forward to spending six whole days by myself, lying in bed, sleeping, eating, and watching television. Im not one to turn down time off, though, so I was racking my brain with what to do to occupy my time. Well, guess what folks? Brett Sabulous is going on a fishing trip with two straight males! Yeah, I know I was shocked too. But Gary, Jim and I (they are the concierges at my hotel) are going deep sea fishing in Galveston Sunday - Wednesday. I figured, what the hell - if I get bored, at least Im bored at a beach! And, who says I have to go fishing with them? There are plenty of bars and shit for me to do down there. So, yay for vacation!

Over all, I'm doing well.
