okay so you know my soul is crying out for the real himup reunion but I AM LOVING THE HIMLO. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. They have such a sweet relationship, Junhong is so GOOD and totally understands what Himchan needs. I love him reintroducing him to casual affectionate touching, and reminding him to breathe, and just--fucking all of it. Omg letting Jongup think mayyyyybe they've been together as payback. It's so upsetting to think Jongup lost his best friend and his Himchan at the same time, but of course I'm also so in Himlo's corner too. Himchan's trying so hard i just ;;;;

SPECIAL MENTION TO DAEHYUN, OMG. "It's me, Jung Daehyun!" "I have to do this wedding thing--" Omg Dae. Never change you crazy gem. I love him so much, his characterization is hilarious and perfect. I came soooo close to making this have a HimLo ending. Like I was legit at work and mentally writing Himchan realizing Junhong was the one who had always had his back, loved him unconditionally, stood beside him on his darkest days and was the one he really loved and I CAME. SO. CLOSE.
But then when I was writing this and I got to the scene where Jongup was looking for him in the church and I just couldn't do it >.< So I went back and added Junhong having a boyfriend...
Man, Daehyun is killing me in this fic. I keep thinking of dumbass oneliners for him but can't put them in since it's a Himchan-centric fic and it's making me so mad lol. I might have to do a bonus chapter for him at the end because he's such an idiot here. Like I can totally picture him honestly thinking Himchan wouldn't recognize him and holding up an entire wedding service to chitchat. My lil dumbass DaeDae.
