J.W. Nixon Marching Band Festival
okay yes competition.....here were the results:
in class 5a:
best soloist alexander
best colorguard alexander
best drum major united
best horn line alexander
best percussion united
best general effect alexander
i cant remember what else there was.... but still
3rd place martin high school
2nd place alexander
1st place united
thats bullshit!! we kicked their ass at everything but two things and they still got first. so once again.....we got second and united got first.....AGAIN for like the past 4 or 5 years or something. and plus they have a stupid bullshit show. their shows are always all easy. with easy music and easy sets and they stay in the same place like forever. and our pits better than their pit..lol castro even said that their band director said it himself. so anyways, im happy that we got all this shit and that united was pissed to hear us win everything but i had a lot of fun. we watched the show back at the bandhall and it looked fuckin good. like in the two traingles in the drumbreak, the cover downs were like perfect. the curves at the end kind of sucked but whatever. whoo go bulldogs!! next contest..crossroads competition on saturday.
btw...i think we can make it to state...with how our show looks right now and the work were gonna put into it, i think we could go far
