in the end, i'll be a big lazy bum

this weekend started off on a rainy friday, that was sure to suck, and it almost did. but i saw pedro the lion, and they blew me away. black cat was awesome, as was the little cafe there. i got vegan black bean dip and chocolate cake. pedro's first opener was this pretty awesome japanese girl band. they did a cover of "moonlight drive"(i know this beause jimmy john knows this) to which they rocked out on the violin/viola? and it sounded swell. but then pedro started playing. we ran up from the cafe. we searched for seating. we sat at the very back on the first step, and could barely see, but then these guys moved and we hastily grabbed their spot. david put us in a trance that i'm convinced only he can manage. when he hit the high notes, i was just sitting and watching in ecstacy as we smoked newports, because we're black. also we christened the bowl (named angel) jimmy john got for me in new york. it's gonna look really phat after i smoke out of it a little more.

this is my embarrasing story of the week: when i got home from the concert, i went up to my room like any other night. but this just turned out to not be any other night. some friends of my parents came up to visit this weekend, but no one had told me they were gonna be sleeping in my bed, although i should have known. so i get into my room and i hear a breathing sound, and a little rustling, so my first reaction is shock. "hello?" more movement ensues. "OOOOOHHHH! my bad" i beat it out of that room quick. they were supposed to have left tonight, but they missed their flight, so they get my room again. me=not so pleased.

saturday, since mike had spent the night at my house, we played halo 2, and leo came over with a vile bottle of alcohol. it only took a little to go a long way, but i've really cooled it with the drinking i guess. there was a party thing on saturday, so we decided to check it out, which turned out to be a good idea.

today i woke up late as usual. i've done nothing all day, except for pause from the nothingness to go sing with mads at barnes and noble. my aunt and uncle who live in texas randomly appeared for this performance, and had a impromptu dinner, for which we ordered pizza. and now it's late, and i have done nothing all day. why did i decided to procrastinate the whole weekend away? my lack of will power is so distressing.
