Okies, so one of the problems I have in trying to sleep is that my creative process goes into overdrive and I spend a good couple hours fabricating characters and whole worlds inside my wee brain. I do now have a pen and note pad next to the bed, but I don't think that's such a good idea, as I start to write out what I've come up with and then elaborate upon it, but by consequence I'm delaying sleep still.
Anyway, here's a bit of what bubbled in my brain last night and what I would like to try writing at some point and perhaps even make the main character into resin form.
The setting is rather modern dayish. Harker (undecided if that's a first or last name), is a young man who is under contract by Demons to hunt wayward Souls who have become restless spirits or ghouls. The Demon who tends to him and informs him of the jobs needed to be done, found him in a dumpster, suffering from complete amnesia.
In this scenario of Demons and Angels, Heaven and Hell, humans are considered containers for Souls, which both the Demons and Angels eat as nurishment and sustenance. Demons feed on the wicked and Angels on the good. Souls which cannot be determined as being either good or evil, are sent back to "recook" within another human container. Thanks to religion however, squables over souls lessened some, as certain guidelines became laid out.
Anyway, that's the gist of it, there's a bit more, but I won't go into it right now. If I write things up, that'll flesh out a lot of this, I hope...
