As usual, I'm late for work, but I can't leave without thanking you profusely for this gem. I was only going to scan through my flist to see if my gift was finally posted (what? Me, impatient? Nooo, what made you think so?) - and it was! I could possibly have waited until tonight to read it, but your comment about top!Sirius was the killer. Who cares about work anyway, when you have a gift like this?

In case you haven't noticed, I LOVED THIS! This was the best Christmas gift ever! I like every single word, the humor, the tenderness between the two of them - and of course the sex with top!Sirius. And extra thanks for:

1. Molly's distress - you own me. It couldn't have been done better, although I was a tad sorry for her because of Percy. But it was a fleeting pity; everything else was just marvelous.

2. Sirius's pride at Harry was just wonderful.

3. Fleur - did I love her here? Pragmatic when everyone else's falling apart, great in her lines about Tonks. You go, Fleur.

4. Sirius and Remus's reunion was the sweetest thing. And the line, the same face Sirius had fallen in love with so many years ago for no particular reason except for the fact that it belonged to Remus made me all warm an fuzzy.

5. Remus's comment about the pudding being safe - very much Remus here.

6. The hot sex - well, I said it would make me a very happy camper, and it did. It was hot and tender and loving, just the way I like it.

What else? Everything else. I can't thank you enough. And now I'm so awfully curious as to who you are, you, who know that top!Sirius makes my day more than anything else.

Thank you very much for a most wonderful fic.

Yay! I'm SO glad! And you're welcome! I really really loved writing this story, though I was one of the offenders who didn't have it in on time - I was in the hospital for couple of weeks and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get to it. I almost requested a pinch-hitter because of the whole thing, but I'm really glad I didn't. Once I did start it, I found that I couldn't stop! *g* It was possibly the most fun I ever had writing a story, to be honest.

I did do some 'research' about your preferences (like Top!Sirius) and I had a co-conspirator *cough*xellas*cough* to make sure that I wouldn't write something you didn't like. Yes, I'm sneaky like that! *g*

And thank you so very much for your lovely feedback! I'm postively thrilled that you liked it so much! *happy dances*

I'm sorry - are you alright now?

I'm very glad that you finished it yourself, though. After all, you had done the hard part, research :-}. And I should also thank xellas for co-conspirating. She knows about my likes and dislikes, that's for sure. Now I can see where the Molly bashing comes from...

I really liked every single word of it.

Yes and no. I was dignosed with Crohn's disease (inflamed intestines) and I also had an abscess/infection, which was why I was hospitalized. I still have the inflammation, and I've got a CAT scan next week to determine if the infection is gone - i.e whether I'll need surgery or not (bleh), but while it's a pain in the ass and I'm still "sick", I feel better now than I did and I'm not in pain like I was before. It's just icky all around, to be honest. And I'm in limbo because I can't get the Crohn's meds until the infection goes away, so that part really sucks.

Anyway... Enough about that. :)

Actually, *blushes* the Molly bashing was all me - I'd just send xellas my snippets asking if I was being too mean to Molly, and she'd say "Oh, no - she'll LOVE that!" *g* But she definitely did have quite a lot of input, (especially the top!Sirius) so thanking her would not be amiss! *g*

And I can't tell you enough how happy I am that you liked it! It truly was a joy to write! :)

Sorry you're having such a hard time. I hope the infection is gone, so you can get your treatment. I don't know anything about Crohn's disease, but I take it's curable or at least controllable with medicines? I hope so.

So you're a fellow Molly-hater, yeah? xellas was right - you can never be too mean to Molly. She deserves every single thing that we do to her, the busybody.

well, it's not curable, (and they don't know what causes it either!) but it is controllable, so yeah. :)

I don't hate Molly. That's such a strong word, and there were a couple of times (like in PS/SS and in GoF when she and Bill showed up to be Harry's family before the third task) that I was actually fond of her. I think she means well, but...! She annoys the piss out of me, I think she's smothering, meddling and totally hypocritical, and I wanted to beat her with a sharp pokey stick all through OoTP and HBP, and in GoF when she sent Hermione the tiny egg because of the Skeeter article (after bitching about Rita writing about Arthur!)!

So yes, she did deserve her comeuppance - and believe me, I had a lot of fun giving it to her! - but I really love and adore Arthur to pieces. And sometimes, Molly being the way she is can be used really well. Like this Arthur Remus gen drabble by ignipes (It's wonderful!) You know?

But no - I don't particularly like Molly. Not at all.
