SUMMER XD SUMMER
It's summer. And it's time for a revival, I think.
Tonight, I've finally looked at The Artifice. Months of debate and wishing I had motivation may have ended. I know, same thing I've said before, right? Hopefully, this time I'll stick through. I might need some support (don't know how much I'll get), but I have added some pages to the story in just this last hour. Part IV is in its beginnings, and I think I would be able to push this story out faster if I didn't have to edit everything myself. I've never had a beta though--and some of my stuff, particularly " Cloaked Business," shows it--so I would have to learn that new-to-me process.
Oh, and don't let me give the excuse that the story's gotten away from me--I actually have an outline, something so heinous that I'm almost disgusted with the development. Mostly, I'm relieved. It's mostly there, some parts clearer than others... and it's much bigger than this. Hopefully, I can pour it out--or at least get further. My worry is that I won't finish it before fall, that I'll leave it in an awkward place--because, as is, it could be a slightly disappointing stand-alone. Anyway, I just have to keep writing.
So, not sure how many (if anyone) will read this, but I could use all the help I could get. I think I's gonna search around for a beta, though any volunteers would be awesome. If anything, I think an editor alone would push me to write more. I feel like I've let some people, including myself, down by letting The Artifice go for so long: it's time to rectify that.
