I am about to reformat my machine, so I wanted to save the podcasts that I'm listening to right now. I figured it would be good to share those as well, so you can comment and tell me other good ones. So commend and let me know what you listen to!
APM: Marketplace Morning report
I don't listen to this one as much any more, as I usually listen live on the radio
APM: Marketplace Money
A good show, but like many where they have callers, the callers are usually pretty stupid
The Engines of our Ingenuity
This is an awesome show. It's 5 minutes long, and go over some inventor/artist/idea in a nice tight way. Highly recommended.
KEXP Presents: Music that matters
An hour long story with various KEXP style of music. Good, but I get behind.
KEXP Song of the day
Basically what it says. A nice mix of indie and mainstream music.
Kunstler Cast
Once one of my favorite, but it's been going downhill. A show focused on the problems of suburban sprawl, and the nature of our cities.
NPR Story of the Day
A nice mix of random, short stories (usually 5 mins or less)
Slate Magazine Daily Podcast
This has risen to the top of my list - a great set of shows. The policitial gabfest is especially good.
Ted Talks
Sessions from the TED conference. Hit and miss.
The Economist
A good sampling of various stories, but not as good as other news podcasts
This American Life
What can I say - a podcast of the best radio show ever
Two that I will likely add soon: The Daily Source code and No Agenda. We'll see how they work out.
