Cottage Weekend
This past weekend included: Jill's 21st birthday, seeing Jack, seeing Cori, getting Jill wasted and eventually puking, driving long ways, meeting Lisa, Drew, Hopper, seeing Jim and Tiffany, swimming in Bass Lake, swimming in the outlet, swimming in Lake Michigan, building an awesome sand castle with a moat, getting burned on the back of my knees and tops of my feet, getting wasted at the beach, playing in waterfalls, dropping my Blackberry in the lake, getting wasted playing card games, sleeping in, playing euchre, and finally to top it off, Taco Bell.
This weekend was so fun. I met three awesome people that I can call friends, got to see the cottage, reminisce with Jim about old times, and just take work off and relax. I got paid for Friday too. I love full time. Now that my Blackberry is toast, I have to get a hand-me-down and use a crappy one. Son of a bitch water and Blackberry's not mixing.
Friday, I head once again to the west coast of the state to see Katie and her family in Saugatuck. I am excited to see her because we spent out 3.5 year anniversary playing phone tag while I was at the cottage and she was getting ready to go on her trip. I realy hope that the trip is good to her Dad and expecially her Grandma, who has been in and out of the hospital a lot lately. One thing I wish I could change is being there for her more. Maybe I am not such a good boyfriend after all...
I am still on a high from the weekend and thinking about it makes me sad and want to go back. I will try to focus this week and not try to do anything else stupid at work.
