Fatal Familial Insomnia
Well not exactly but its weird. I havent slept in like 40 hours. I started my day off tired as most monday mornings are but it turned out that not only did i have a presnetation due but i hadnt done much for it. So Tina stayed up with me till like 1am and at that point Frank stopped by and we started talking about research and i wound up changing my topic at 1:30 in the morning to lillie gene expression. well needless to say i didnt get any sleep last night. My presentation went good. Lab was evil, Lab starts at like 1:00 but as usual i was pretty late, but my lab partners were on time and we (Era and I) wound up staying till 8:30. it was crazy. only to coem home to a kitchen full of pots and pans i had to clean. so i got that done and watched "Far and Away" with Tina, Marshall and Jennie. Which brings me to where i am now and to my subject. Prions suck and they are cool as hell. I was going to do my presentation on prions but i didnt have enugh time. But one of the side aeefects of prion deseases (mad cow, CJD, scrappie)is called Fatal Familial Insomnia. First off thats gotta be one of the worst ways to die. seconldy i have that ive-been-awake-for-way-to-long-to-get-to-sleep felling. Time to try to get to sleep.
