Since no one else has posted, let me be the first to cheer for our rockstar John Edwards announcing his run for the presidency again in 2008!

*throws confetti & cheers*

Though there will never be another political 'ship quite like John/John, I still wonder who he'll pick for a running mate if he gets the nomination?

Yay Little John! I was all happy and full of good cheer when I heard the news! :D

Although I have to admit...if it comes to it, I might end up supporting Obama. But yay John! *points to icon* I still have a Little John icon! yay!

You still have a Little John icon! I *am* impressed. I was just thinking I really ought to get one again...

At this stage in the game, I'll celebrate *all* the blue candidates (unless someone truly horrible shows up) and take my time figuring out who to support in the primary. Although I have to agree with you, Obama's pretty darn cool from what I've seen so far.

Isn't it simply horrible having more than one shiny neat cool candidate to choose from this time around? :D

Mind you, for a while now I've thought that maybe will end up happening in regards to our getting a female or black president is that we get our first non-white-male as the VP, and move on from there. Although, gah, it's taken long enough already. Anyway---I would so totally support Edwards/Obama. And, you know, not just for the pretty. :P

(I don't have a Little John icon right now, so I'm using my Katharine Jefferts-Schori [recently elected top Episcopalian bishop] one. I joke that she and Nancy Pelosi can be our femslash church/state OTP 2007. Heh.)

I sort of wish he wasn't running, given the certainty that he's going to get crushed.

...I know it won't happen, but I think I'd pass out in joy if I got to mark by 'Edwards/Obama' on my ballot.

I do feel a twinge of sadness. I love Little John, but it just won't be the same this time 'round. I don't think anything can top the Johns' campaign!

(Okay, another Dem president just might. ;-) )

So would I. :D And, migod, your icon--I had forgotten quite how adorable John and John were. They really did hug that much! *grin* Hopefully Little John remembers that this time around. Fanservice for the voters, Little John! ;)
