The Second Sunday of Epiphany, 2023 (Part Two)
The message of Crosby's sermon was that we can walk a little taller because we belong to G-d. That He is, in effect, Our Father. We've lost that early memory of being proud that our dad could kick your dad's ass (if, he wanted to.) Or, was taller or smarter or better looking. Or, happened to be the principal of the school. G-d is all those things rolled into one - and more. Crosby's message was that we should get our chin up off the ground and puff our chest out a little more because that sort of relationship with G-d is right there for the asking.
