A Message From L.A.
There's been another tagged photo sighting on Crosby's Facebook page. Again, just like the last few, it was perpetrated by his older brother. I've been puzzling over it for weeks now. On the surface it is of a pair of cis gendered couples sitting around an outdoor table with drinks, enjoying the sun. Everyone seems happy. No bare skin. No tattoos to speak of. But, there is something just a little bit different about Crosby. I couldn't figure it out until just now.
He's the only one not wearing sunglasses.
It's entirely possible he was the only one who didn't bring a pair with him, but, that seems unlikely. What's more likely is he was wearing them and took them off for the sake of the picture. But, to what purpose? For the sake of our seeing more of his sunny expression? Possibly, but, I think there's more to it than that. I think he made a quick calculus of what the picture would look like with the four of them lined up like movie stars shooting on location and didn't like the message it would convey. He wants all of us back East to know that he is fighting the good fight. That he hasn't gone native.
