Powerful Prayers
Say what you will about Huggy Bear and the Knights Templar, they pray outrageously. The doctors assigned to Mom's case while she was in the hospital last week were doing everything in their power to persuade us to put her in a hospice. But, one e-mail to Huggy Bear and the next day she was alert, her vital signs were normal and not a lot the doctors could point to to support their position other than the desire to save the health care system money by allowing her to starve to death. She was discharged within 48 hours.
