Good Kitchen (Part 2)
Huggy Bear had a busy morning, too. Not only did he hold Morning Prayers, but later when we failed to make the hat trick (not enough kindness of strangers), he was chosen to give the prayer during Opening Circle. He is really good at praying. Crosby later kidded that he must have been practicing it for months just in case of such an emergency.
I looked around for Pale Male after we left Crosby, but, I couldn't find him. He may have already gone to Dive Bar. Huggy Bear and I headed up Broadway for coffee. Neither of us mentioned Tylerland. I had the distinct impression we shared an unstated unwritten agreement to avoid the subject of Crosby altogether - I guess, there was a little bit of maximum plausible deniability going on. The closest we came was when I brought up the subject of his apartment and who was taking over the lease. Turns out, Huggy and Cancelmo may be getting an apartment together.
