Worked a mascot gig yesterday and was going to post about it, then realized that I had a problem.
For years, I've relied on LJ's "Friends Only" feature to keep such posts private. While Russian ownership of LJ hasn't scared me away, it seems to have do so for everyone else. The audience on LJ has atrophied to the point where maybe one or two people will ever see a private post.
Meanwhile, Twitter's approach is all-or-nothing. So, I'd have to create a parallel account to share event details discreetly. Even then, I'm still limited by Twitter's post length.
Any suggestions?
