Making plans and spending money

The Funday Pawpet Show had their annual telethon last Sunday. Usually I just do a straight donation, but this time they had an item up for bid that caught my attention: KP had contributed an unused "slightly imperfect" Megaplex staff bowling shirt. A $100 bid later, and I'll soon have it in my paws. :D

In other news... The odd Atlanta-Chicago-San Jose flight arrangement is apparently ok with work. This clears a big scheduling hurdle as flying back to Atlanta would be a huge waste of time. Attending FC might just become a reality.

Air travel brings up the question of how to pack my fursuit head. My Sterlite totes just aren't going to cut it for air. At 18l x 14w x 15h, my quite-solid lion head doesn't lend well to conventional checked luggage. Best idea I have at the moment is buying a hard case for a 18" tom drum - reasonably priced and barely skirts oversize luggage fees. The rest of the suit should fit into a duffle.

There are still some rooms left at the Hilton, but who knows how long those will last. Maybe I'll stay an extra day or two to do some sightseeing. Decisions, decisions!

Oh yeah, Thanksgiving is coming up. Busy busy busy...
