Circuit Shitty is dead
After failing to strike an 11th-hour deal, Circuit City is going from Chapter 11 (reorg) to Chapter 7 (liquidation) bankruptcy. As a result, all of their remaining stores will be closed. Gift certificates will continue to be honored during the liquidation process - USE THEM OR LOSE THEM!
With the previous store closings, liquidators came in and restored all prices to MSRP and "discounted" from there. (For the first few weeks, most goods were MORE expensive than pre-liquidation) If you are looking for a deal, your best bets are price-fixed goods which never go on sale. (ink cartridges, iPods, new games, Disney DVDs, etc) Televisions and computers generally won't be near a decent price until very late in the liquidation process.
