Too Many Games...Again

A little over a year ago I was complaining about there being too many games to play, but now it's about 10 times worse. I have stacks of unplayed games sitting here but no time to play them. Between playing games for work (which are usually long, involving RPGs) and trying to do everything else I want to in life (study, read, exercise, learn, ( Read more... )

I'm also guilty of missing some big stuff. Shadow of the Colossus for one (technically I did play the first encounter and was a bit turned off by the controls). I never touched any of the new Prince of Persias. I even borrowed the first one from a friend, where it collected dust before said friend asked for it back. I think that is the first time I have borrowed something and never used it! God of War is still sitting in its shrinkwrap! I bought that brand new to support another friend of mine that was on the dev team (hopefully he doesn't read this). Yet I never got around to cracking it open. I suck. ;P

Looking forward to? Virtua Fighter 5 (360...I can't afford a PS3 right this second). Culdcept Saga. Persona 3. Front Mission 1st (is that even coming out in the U.S?). Card Fighter's Clash (I'm sort of anticipating opinions on this one). MGS4 (no brainer...also praying that there is still truth in the 360 rumors) and because I am also one of the boobs that didn't purchase the original PS1 version, I am looking forward to SoTN XBLA. Special mention: The new 3D fighter from Capcom. I predict a train wreck, but being the Capcom fan I am I remain hopeful. Secret special mention: Whatever Street Fighter related project people keep hinting at with a wink and a nudge. If it even exists at all...and if it does, please don't let it be another CFJ.

Not to hold a conversation with myself in your comments, but I realized that was a pretty fucking harsh and ignorant way of saying how I really feel, especially for a game I've only seen screens of (and I didn't notice an "edit" button in LJ comments). I'm curious and excited, however, 3D fighters from Capcom don't have the greatest history ever. You know? Blarg.
