Election night maps...
Humans who indulge in predicting the future, invite divine retribution upon themselves, seeing into the future being the sole purview of the gods. Now with that sword of Damocles hanging over my head in mind, I have to say that the early numbers from the election are not looking good for the Democrats...
House Map
I rather like the layout of the New York Times map.
Oh keep in mind that the size of the red and blue areas on the New York Times House map isn't indicative of anything. I would have preferred that the New York Times had used a "Cartogram" to make the gains and losses visually obvious...
Cartogram
The Senate could use a Cartogram which gives equal sizing to the states.
I'm also monitoring the election results and news from my iPad offsite. The iPad experience is still not as entertaining or visually compelling as television. Terse and informative however.
Mobile apps have a ways to go...
