in dreams

So, I had this really vivid and strange dream last night. It started out with me in a really rundown house walking around trying to calm down the residents and speak to a ghost that was flying around. Eventually I was able to calm the resident down and speak to the ghost it. She (the ghost) couldn’t speak but she motioned for me to follow her. As I came to a boarded up door, I noticed a strange substance oozing down the wall. I broke down the door and inside was a staircase leading up to the next floor. I followed another trail of ooze and came to two people tied to chairs shot in the head. I only saw them for an instant and just as quickly transported to another location where I witnessed a svelt young man meeting up with two young middle eastern ladies. One of the ladies and the man seemed very occupied with each other. I soon realized I was being shown the two “victims” story. I saw tidbits of their time together, most of which was happy. Unfortunately their families weren’t happy with the two being together. After many moments in time passed by my eyes we came to a point at which the two lovers where on vacation and getting off a bus. Some men with masks came out of nowhere and grabbed them. Suddenly I was transported to the room with the two bodies. They disappeared as I stood there and the ghost smiled as she faded away as well…. I woke up.

I am used to having nightmares but this was weird. I wonder if it is possible transcend that which is reality into the great void in our dreams and talk to those such as spirits. If not, I have an amazingly vivid imagination that needs to be expressed in some creative outlet.
