I LURVE all animals too, at least from a distance and in a general sort of way, Chihuahuas and mean domestic cats and evil Siberian hamsters notwithstanding. *small lol* Weirdly enough, gerbils, mice, and rats are all pretty cool though. My fave domestic animal might be a dog, but my fave exotic pet is a salamander or a turtle, and my fave water animal is either a dolphin or an Orca whale, and my fave non-pet (read: wild) land animal are bengal tigers, lions, grey wolves, and red foxes.
So, what ARE a few of YOUR faves... :D
If you don't mind me saying so though, I think your doggie's people-friendly, love sponge-y traits rubbed off on your kitties. Or your sole dog had at least something to do with your kitties becoming more dog-like. And yay for all 7 of them being that way as well, for that's super rare, but also super-adorable. :D Now, I'm curious though. What breed is your dog? A small breed? A big breed? A mix? And what is his/her name? And I ask the same things of your many felines as well. :D Are the three you have now all tabby cats? Or are they very different from each other in the looks/coloring department? :S *curious look*
I've always wanted to get two birds though. A parrot and a parakeet. And then I want to teach them to say stuff to me, and to each other. Funny stuff. ;) *mischevious cackle* It would be stellar if I can train one or both to talk like certain famous people, Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey being chief amongst this new group.
Thanks for the videos AND all of these adorable pics that you've posted, Traci. :) I DO have a conundrum though. You apparently know how to post pics and links into your comments to various entries. And I do not. *pout*
I know only how to post pics if they're a part of an initital entry that I write. So, is there any way that you can tell or show ME how to do it within a reply to someone else's comment? Pretty please, with doggy and kitty clones on top? :S *hopeful look* THANK YOU!!! *hugs & smooches*
After viewing these two particular pics though, I have come to two conclusions.
First, I can honestly say that your Winky is the ONLY Chihuahua in the history of the world & during my 28 and a half year span upon this planet that I genuinely would call cute. And THAT is saying a METRIC TON. :D Is that her bed that's sitting in though? And is it just me or does it look like a mini-hammock made out of someone's winter cap? ;)
As for the second conclusion? I find that Sassy must have been frequently been dreaming of food when she was asleep. I mean, just look at her. She's already licking her lips! ;) YAY for Jack Russells in general as well though! :D I might be wrong, but I think they are one of the smarter, more inquisitive breeds. NOT that I don't like those that aren't as smart or anything, mind you. I'm just making conversation...
Hey! No fair! *mock glare* If I'd known that dragons couunted, I would have put them on MY list too! Of course, then I'd have to add irradiated lizards named Godzilla, griffins, unicorns, and phoenixes too. :)
Dragonflies are fun as well, but I'm always afraid they're going to sting or bite me. Even though they're stingerless and prolly toothless as well. So, it's an unfounded fear. But, they ARE very cool-looking. :)
Each and every one of these pics was more adorable than the last one. ALL were EQUALLY BLOOMIN' BRILLIANT! Although... I DO have a few questions. Is Winky sunning himself on the sill in the last one? And I love the names! Harry Potter character names FTW!!! Even your nicknames for them are cool! :D And am I correct in thinking that two of them are girl cats and one is a boy cat?
The "OMG! Peeping Tom" lolcat one was especially BRILLIANT! :D Who was the peep-er and who was the peep-ee in it though? :S
I am wondering if the peeper was just wondering if the spot was already taken, so he could claim it if it wasn't.
And, finally, in the second-to-last pic, I bet Moo was reaching out to take your camera from you, in order to take a picture of YOU. Or maybe he reenacting the scene at the end of where Darth Vader reaches out his hand to Luke and says "Luke, come with me, we can rule this galaxy together as father and son, for I am your faaaaaaaaaaaaather." ;) Only, you're Luke, he's Vader, and neither one of you talk or breathe like you are a 20-pack-a-day smoker or have just had your arm cut off. *LOL*
I can't say it enough. These pics are ALL AMAZING!!!! :D You are a really clever and thorough photographer, it seems, for I would never have been able to get most of these, without them being blurry. Or worse yet, them being clear shots of the moment right before or right after the sublime moment you WANTED to capture on film (or in a photo).
Nope. Not sick at all. :D Cute critters and pics that prove their cuteness maje my world go 'round, as I am petless at the moment. So, I am living vicariously through YOUR pets. Hope you don't mind that. :D *hugs*
At any rate, this collection has arisen more questions in my brainpan. So, the question SHOULD be: Are you sick of ME yet? *grin* :D Usually, a cat would sleep on a dog. NOT the other way around. So, is this a NORMAL thing for those two? Or was that a once-in-a-lifetime-so-far deal? :S
And what about the smackdown? Who was getting it? Pinky (the lovable zany dog) or The Brain (the cosmically flexible and crazily brilliant cat)???
Moo is CRAZY!FLEXIBLE though! :D First the literal laidbackedness inside the pink tube and then the moo-robics were funnnny! :D And OMG! Minnie's definitely pondering what the Brain is pondering. She's going to take over the woorrrrrllllldddddddd!!! *wink*
~Sharma, totally enthralled by your super-kittie pics! :D
