Greetings from Earthquake Tornado Hurricane Sunny-N-Hot Central!

It always happens in THREES, doesn't it? Got irony much, do we, Commonwealth? ;)

In other words, welcome to Chesterfield County, home of the craziest weather week that has ever had the misfortune to be reported on during the World News. And I was front and center for all of it. Which ( Read more... )

Looks like you haven't either, Chloris! *makes pooh-pooh-to-you-too faces at the odd weather we've both been having, for good measure...though I don't exactly know how doing THIS sort of thing could EVER really be considered to be a good meaasure, or a measure at all, really, but stilll...* *rambles on*

Pardon my ramble. I think I still miss Ten, so I think I've started to talk and talk-type like him. Or something. Maybe I'm still rebelling against Six-Meets-Seven!Eleven. I like Amy. I love Rory. But the Doctor. He's cruel like Six and manipulative like Seven. And my brain is permanently stuck on a constant repeat of these three words, and JUST these three: DO. NOT. WANT.

Ok, where was I though?

Oh, yes. The weather. Yay for your town being the mighty Storm Killer though! :D I wish MY town was like that too. But, nooooooooo...We couldn't BE that lucky as well, could we? *pouts* Instead, my town's known as the giant Push-Over. Any storm comes our way, and we get bowled over like a strike at a bowling alley. It's annoying, really. *sigh*

Glad it was only branches that fell at your place and also that no one was hurt by them as well though. *hugs* And yeah, I do agree. Even with the trees down, things could have been FAR worse. In fact, just around the block from me a tree went straight down through two stories of house. A bedroom, a bathroom, and part of the kitchen. Smashed to smithereens. Luckily, though I think some of the family WAS home at the time, none of them were seriously hurt or anything, if they were hurt at all. Shaken, yes. Hurt, no. Thank goodness.

~Sharma,
who's obviously glad
that the weather has FINALLY normalized lately...
