I think MY humble goal is that I wanna read every English, Scottish, Irish, French, and Spanish fictional book (these particular ones because those are the only dialects/languages that I personally know and can understand and read/write without a translator translating for me) that has been published from the year 1900 'til now (2010).
...If only I had a TARDIS and The Doctor around. THEN, I REALLY could understand and read every language in the world, because it'd translate the books for me. ;) *wistful sigh*
I actually feel YOUR pain TOO, mate! My mum and dad disapprove of me, it's true. But, my GRANDMUM (85 years old and crazy as a loon, but NOT in a good way) smothers me like I am still 2 years old. Drives me INSANE, that it does. So, it looks like, by proxy, we are in the same boat, after all. *glares at mums and grandmums and dads (by proxy) from afar*
*promptly sends YOU hugs of both comfort and commiseration immediately after the glare was sent to YOUR MUM*
