Just nod and grin.....
There is some serious discontent at the school these days among the faculty. It seems like it is going to be coming to a climax sometime soon.
The people running the place are doing a piss poor job. Students are being dismissed for not maintaining the required grade point average and the higher ups bring them back. Some seniors who are on probation have been suspended twice while on probation and have not been kicked out. It is getting bad.
Now the teachers don't know the half of it, they get to leave in the afternoon, however I stay here and deal with it 24/7. I am so ready to get out of here. I often wonder who is running this school. I am not sure what it is about this year specifically, but it is not going well as a whole. So here I am, showing up every evening as scheduled, putting up with huge amounts of BS and just having to nod and grin at the whole ridiculousness of the situation. Eh, who knows, I will just keep on keeping on and do what I have to do.
However interesting sidenote to this story. For some reason no one is keeping track of the students who got kicked out of here coming back onto campus. Tonight we were supposed to have a pep rally, however it was cancelled for some reason (someone dropped the ball and forgot). As people were milling around to leave a girl who got kicked out last year attacks a girl who still goes here. They start going at, I grab the girl who goes here and drag her away while another teacher grabs the other girl who doesn't go here. The student is moved away from the situation and the girl who doesn't go here leaves. These situations should never happen, but where are the administrators during all this?
Now who is mixed up in all this? Yup, you guessed it the senior who has been suspended twice and should be on probation. She told the students friend to tell her someone was looking for, that someone being the girl who attacked her. Will she still be here? Yup, she will.
I think the faculty is going to address the head of school and hope to have some discussion about why all this is going on.
