For quite some time now I have neglected this journal. I decided that this is my first night on the weekend that I don't have much to do so why not update for people to hear about things? This might be a little bit long...
For starters, I have been busy. Ohh so busy. Seems like any time there is something to do or sign up for, I do it. Mainly speaking of the fraternity. I was helping out with X-Man for an entire week with some of the guys. I have been working on skit night and getting that taken care of. Tons of games for volleyball to show support, playing football, going to watch other sororities play, softball tournaments, kickball tourny (this weekend), softball games, hockey games, watching the other brothers in the football tournament, changing the oil in my car, classwork, meetings, business opportunities, worrying about scheduling, scheduling for classes, and tons of other crap. It has been insane.
To go back in time, the fund raiser we did was awesome. We raised just around a hundred bucks for it and had an awesome time. Two days of heckling people non-stop and smelling like old milk was glorious. I got hit with a total count for two days of 54 pies to the face. Some others got up there but I took the most hits and in a way feel good about doing it. It was just fun to do and we had a good time. Jacob and I spent quite some time getting stuff for the fund raiser and passing out fliers to people along with running our asses off trying to get it done. Props to him (Fat Titties) for it all and being there with me.
Another thing was Xi-Man for the AXiD girls. This is like a male beauty pageant for those who don't know. We had one of our brothers step up and do it because no1 else would. I would have done it but I don't have a lot of time to spare. It was a fun week I must say. In the end, our guy didn't win but we had a good time making decorations for the house (inside and out), washing the girls' cars for them, and doing other crap which makes us suck up to the girls to hopefully get us their winning votes. It was overall a ton of fun to do and I might just do it myself next year.
School has been crazy. I have been doing quite some reading/writing/studying at the end of this semester. Just recently I got my on line college algebra crap fixed so I can get a good grade in there and not have to go through the bull-crap of contesting the class. Well, we shall see.
Scheduling just happened and I am definitely happy with the outcome of my classes. I have class only on tuesdays and thursdays next semester for the fall. I am definitely stoked. That will basically get a lot of my college credit done but I will actually have days off this time around. So yeah, kudos to this dude on rocking the peoplesoft scheduling system.
This past week was Greek Week. Something shocking happened that some reading might be blown away by. Monday night we had a "social" at a nightclub called "Matrix" or "Metropolis". I was debating on going or not but then eventually decided I needed to go to show some support as a Sigma Nu. Well, thank God I did because I had a blast. Unbelievable time. And, I met a girl. Her name is Jennifer and she is totally awesome. I had a blast dancing with her and, well, sorta making out with her at one point. It wasn't like we spent the night making out, it was only for a little bit. But yeah, that was awesome. So then Tuesday night was Skit Night and we rocked the show. Personally, I thought we did the best skit by far. Some of the others that were out there bored me so much. Green said it best: " This makes me want to go and kill myself." Man that was funny. But ya, our skit was awesome but we only got 2nd place for our efforts and didn't win Greek Week 2005. Ohh well but its ok. I had a good night that night as well. Thursday we had our "real" social and went to a go-kart track to have the place to ourselves. On this trip, you get a buddy. I was told beforehand that Brie Masingale was my buddy for the night and so I was expecting her to be my buddy. Well, when my name was called, Jennifer's name was called as well. That was even better. We had a great time. I don't think there was a boring time when we were there. Free video games, free go karts, just a great time.
Tonight though, this is my day of rest. Tomorrow morn I have a kickball tourny at 10am and I don't wanna get up for it really. I also have a softball game to pitch on Sunday at 3pm if anyone wants to watch. Other than that, the R.A. stuff has gone by pretty well and I am going to have an enormous room next fall and spring as an R.A. in Libra. It's incredibly huge. I am kinda shocked they are spoiling me that much. Mwuahahaha. It's gonna be awesome. So anyways, thanks for reading the journal. I'll hopefully post again some other time soon. Peace.
