I have mixed feelings about yesterday's election. On one hand, I'm very glad that Obama got elected, and his speech last night nearly moved me to tears, but on the other hand, I'm deeply disappointed by my state, that we passed an amendment to the state constitution to take away gay people's right to marry (a right that was briefly in effect here). I have a hard time believing people can be so ignorant and closed minded in this day and age, especially in one of the more progressive states.
