LosCon: Day 2
I started the day by accidentally going to a presentation on the archeology of Land of the Lost. I stayed for the speaker's introduction, which although long, was very interesting, but left once he started talking about a TV show I've never watched.
Later, I went to a excellent panel on world building, and a so-so one on hall costumes.
In the art show, kokeshikitten sold four of her pieces (really good for her first time in the show), scoop51 sold seven (one of them was won by the artist guest of honor), and I got... exactly 0 bids. Nothing. Nada. Zip. And only two people took my business cards. I won't lie. I'm depressed. My showing has been getting progressively worse for several years.
The masquerade starts in half an hour. I think I'm just going to hang out in the hallway outside, with the press folks, so I can photograph the costumes with them. Then again, I might not even bother doing that.
