Saw two movies this weekend, one in the theater, one on DVD.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Had numerous good, funny moments, mostly involving the monkey, but overall it wasn't nearly as good as the first two. It's biggest flaw was that it was too complicated. There were so many characters and plots that it was hard to follow and got tiresome. The bad guy's death scene was all together too heroic for a sleazy villain, and too melodramatic for such a relatively minor character. I was surprised how many penis jokes there were between Jack and Barbossa (this is not a complaint).

Brokeback Mountain
Boring, depressing, and the repetitive theme music got stuck in my head.
