Fighting Techniques of the Medieval World by Matthew Bennett, Jim Bradbury, Kelly DeVries, and Iain Dickie
An excellent overview of tactics and equipment of medieval warfare, separated into sections covering infantry, cavalry, seige, command & control, and naval warfare. Includes descriptions of historical battles to illustrate the concepts. It's a bit expensive, but an excellent resource for anyone (like me) interested in the subject.

Only one book this month, because it was pretty dense with information (not a quick read).
